Please welcome back Tom Morgan Racing as a SSVMX Gold Sponsor for the 2024-25 race season. Tom has a long history of building fast motorcycles whether for motocross, drag racing or street bikes. In 1980 Tom took a position at Kawasaki Motor Corp, USA in the Research and Development department initially for the street bike projects but then later moved to help with off road projects such as the KX60, KX80/100, KX250, KX500 and worked extensively on the first 3 wheeler, the KLT200.

At the end of 1982, Tom moved to the factory motocross team as a lead mechanic. His riders included Billy Liles from ‘83-‘85, Eddie Warren in ’86, Jeff Ward ’87-’92 and Mike LaRocco in ’93. During this timeframe, Tom collected 5 AMA National titles and 5 AMA mechanic of the year awards. He attended the MX des Nations 7 times and was one of the key forces in Kawasaki’s choice to implement the first big rig in motocross history and was team chief in ’91-’93.

Cool resume, right? So, now with over 40 years of high performance engine building experience, you may ask what can he do for you?
